Galaxy Player Commits to BGSU

GALAXY SC PLAYER, MIKE WIEST, COMMITS TO BOWLING GREEN
Galaxy Soccer Club would like to congratulate Mike Wiest (member of Galaxy's U18 Boys Blue team), who recently committed to playing soccer at Bowling Green State University in the fall. Wiest has been coached by Jim Connor and Brett Strang, who was also a member of the BGSU Men's Soccer Program. While playing for the Galaxy SC U18 Boys team, Mike helped his squad to a State Cup Semifinal appearance in 2009 after trips to the quarterfinals in each of the previous two seasons. Wiest was also a member of the Naperville North HS Boys Soccer program where we led his team to a 16-3-2 record while being named to the Sun-Times All-Area Team as well as the IHSSCA All-State Team.
