Team Tryouts for the 2012-2013 Season
Galaxy Soccer Club will be holding tryouts for the 2012-2013 season from May 29-June 6. All tryouts will be held at Commissioner's Park (111 St. & 248th Ave) and Nike Park (288 W. Diehl Rd., Naperville, IL). Please see below for the full tryout schedule. Girls U15-U18 should refer to Midwest United Tryout Information (www.midwestunited.org).

U17 BOYS BLUE HEADING TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Galaxy Soccer Club U17 Boys Blue team travelled to Las Vegas this past week for the final three games of their US Youth Soccer National League season. After winning all three games, defeating the second-ranked team in the country in the process, Galaxy was crowned Division Winners, securing a place in the National Championships in July in South Carolina. The U17 Boys Blue team is the first team in club history to advance to Nationals. Congratulations to our boys and their coach, Brett Strang, for this fantastic accomplishment!
U12 GIRLS BLUE WIN BORDER BATTLE
Galaxy Soccer Club is proud to announce that the U12 Girls Blue team, coached by Nick Trotter, were crowned champions of the Border Battle in Kansas over the weekend of March 3-4. The team finished with a record of 3-0-1, defeating West Demoines Royal 1-0 in the championship game. Throughout the event, the girls outscored their opponents 15 to 3. Attending the tournament were Emily Bergeron, Kerrigan Boose, Clare Bumpus, Gretchen Deichman, Morgan Dudycha, Meghan Hawkins, Samantha Kelsen, Alex Lichtman, Kennedy Metzger, and Elise Tauber. Congratulations girls!
GALAXY SC TO HOST KICK IT 3V3 TOURNAMENT
The Galaxy Soccer Club will once again host a Kick It 3v3 Soccer tournament this summer at the Naperville Polo Fields. The event will be held on July 21-22 and is open to all ages. Every participant is guaranteed three games and a tournament t-shirt along with the opportunity to qualify for the 3v3 Regional or National Championships. U17 BOYS BLUE SELECTED TO COMPETE IN US YOUTH SOCCER'S NATIONAL LEAGUE
The Galaxy Soccer Club U17 Boys Blue team have been accepted into the prestigious National League for the 2011-2012 season. The league is comprised of only the most competitive teams across the country and Galaxy is one of only two teams from Illinois in the U17 Division. The U17 Boys Blue team won the Premier Division of the Midwest Regional League this past Spring and won two games at the Region II Championships as well. Congratulations to the U17 Boys Blue team!
