It is with great sadness that we share the news that former Galaxy SC coach Chris Boardman suffered cardiac arrest and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 6, 2021.  Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.  Chris coached for Galaxy for four years from 2008 to 2012 and usually worked with younger girls teams.  In addition to being a great coach and role model for young players, he was an avid runner and golfer.  More than anything though, Chris loved his family.  He was an amazing husband to Jill and father to Oliver and Lucy.  Chris will be missed by everyone who knew him.  The family has requested that donations be made in his name to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
